Cesaria Evora is finally back in Mindelo |
|
The Cape Verdean singer Cesaria Evora is back to Mindelo. Overcome the first phase of the recovery stroke (stroke) he suffered in September, Cesaria returned this weekend to his hometown, where she will recharge her batteries and get a complete recovery.

According to a source close to the artist, Cize is "okay" and just "a little tired from the trip."
Considered the biggest name of Cape Verdean music, Cesaria Evora suffered on September 23, a stroke in Paris. Hospitalized in the French capital, the singer recovered favorably, so she was discharged in early October.
The health problem of 'the barefoot diva' followed the announcement of the end of his career, made in a statement, and medical advice.
Cesaria Evora was born in Mindelo on 27 August 1941 and is considered the "ambassador of Morna." Throughout her artistic career she has published 24 albums, including original, live shows and partnerships with other artists from various countries such as Caetano Veloso and Marisa Monte.
On 10 May last year, the diva underwent emergency surgery to her heart, also in France, where she spent a month in recovery.
Shortly we all hope that she will be back singing with her usual musicians and prepare a new album.
