Cape Verde, through various companies and institutions, will be present in the Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa (BTL), which will take place 23-27 February. The news has been confirmed by the administrator of Cape Verde Investimentos (CI), Eileen Barbosa. 

TACV Morabeza Hotel, Morabitur, Atlantic & Oasis Hotels & Resorts, Barracuda Tours, Hotel Odjo of water, Resort Group, Village Green & Resorts Travel & Tourism and the air-carrier are the companies that will represent Cape Verde in this event. They will seek to identify new markets and distribution channels, to capture and recover customers.

Cape Verde will have a stand of 54 square meters, to display the sustainable brand. "Portugal is a very important market for Cape Verde and was third in terms of overnight stays in 2010. The targets set for the Portuguese market by 2013, according to the marketing plan approved by Ministry of Tourism is to keep the number of guests, overnight stays increased by 16% and increase the average stay to 8.1 nights, "justifies Eileen Barbosa .

The Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa wants to promote the Portuguese cuisine with the space "Prove Portugal", where there are tastings, presentations and evidence of Portuguese products. To this end, the space of Gastronomic Tourism in Pavilion 4 of the IDF, will include representations of the Portuguese regions of Alentejo, Algarve, Lisbon and Tagus Valley.
