The 27th edition of the international music festival of Baía das Gatas will be held this year on days 5, 6 and 7 August, said the the councilman of Culture of the Municipality of Sao Vicente .

At the municipal web site, Humberto Lellis, who did not have names of possible groups or artists for the 2011 edition, advanced to the organizing committee is already working on the poster of the event.

Councilman assured, moreover, that the City has entered the amount of 15 million escudos (about 136.00 Euro) in the budget for the festival, but other moneys could come from sponsorship deals and advertising.

Last year, during the 26th edition, the Festival of Baía das Gatas honored the sponsors of the event.

Poster figured bands like Calcinha Preta, Brazil, Buraka Som Sistema, Portugal, Jam Band, which honored Biús, Suzana Lubrano and artists like Jorge Neto, Nelson Freitas, Dennis Grace, among many others.
