POLVE ZE DE LINO - Octopussy stew Ze de Lino style

  • 1 kg. octopus (or squid)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tomatoes or tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 2 grains of hot pepper (or to taste)


Wash and cut octopus into pieces. Put the octopus in a pot with two bay leaves and 3 tablespoons of oil. Cook on medium heat. Cook octopus for about 20 minutes. Add the tomatoes, garlic, onion, cut into cubes and red pepper. Cook half the flame until you get a sort of stew. Stir occasionally.
