Djagacida - A Meat dish

Djagacida

Main Ingredient: Beef

Meal for 4 people

Ingredients
200 g of salted
meat
400 g pumpkin
5 cups water

2 bowls of rice
2 tablespoons of olive oil
½ onion
250 g cabbage
1 can of peas
250 g of beans
1 bay leaf
½ tablespoon of paprika
Pepper and salt to taste
150 g of corn cob

 

Preparation
Fry it in olive oil, ½ onion should be cut in slices. The same clay pot, add the bay leaf, paprika, liquid from the can of peas and 5 cups of water. Cover the pan and let it boil.

Mix the rice, salt and pepper. Is added, too, the pumpkin is cut into cubes. Put also the beans, already soaked, the cabbage, cut kid and cured (also cut). At the same time, there is the corn cob and peas. It is cooking over low heat. If the water level drops to low, add more liquid.

Are ready when the vegetables are cooked.
