Whole fish steamed with Cucumber and Almonds

Whole fish steamed with Cucumber and Almonds

Main Ingredient: Fish

* Meal for 4 people


Ingredients
1 Large clove garlic, crushed
1 medium cucumber
1 large whole fish (eg trout, tuna, turbot)
2 tablespoons good-quality wine
1 sliced shallots (onion family)
100g sliced almonds
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Soy sauce (shoyu)
150g of rice noodles


Preparation
Add the garlic with the sliced cucumber lengthwise and pour the mixture into a pyrex baking. Place over the whole fish and drizzle it with the wine of good quality.

Spread the shallots over the fish. Boil some water in a large pan and place the dish on the boiling water. Cover and cook in steam for 12 minutes.

Remove the fish, sprinkle the almonds on top and drizzle with sesame oil. Serve with soy sauce.
